School Psychologist

I'm passionate about streamlining systems to improve outcomes for students, families, and educators.

In an education climate of increasing scarcity, I've found that the way forward involves leveraging technology and thoughtfully crafted resources to work smarter and better. With that in mind, I created this website to share resources and effective practices.

I have worked to develop the multi-tiered systems of supports in my schools. Along the way, I've implemented new instructional programming and progress monitoring methods for social and emotional learning. Our progress monitoring data needed to go somewhere, and for that I developed an application called iAscend. I have also led the implementation of district protocols for threat, self-harm, and suicide risk assessment.

I received Educational Specialist and Masters degrees from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I currently serve as a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Services Coordinator for the St. Croix River Education District in northern Minnesota.
